ARTEKS Arquitectura created these sculptural shade structures in Spain. They mimic the shape of nearby pine trees. The park needed shade, but the salt spray from nearby ocean made it difficult to grow the same trees. The structure is fiberglass and salt-resistant.
I love how they varied the angles to mimic the pine tree's shape. Awesome.
