1. the sky is an amazingly beautiful blue at night (even in the city), 2. the sun shines brightly almost everyday causing me to wear my happy sunglasses almost as much as i do in the summer, 2. sundogs!, 3. quiet, 4. trips to northern wisconsin with friends to skii and drink in front of a fire, 5. getting to turn on the fireplace nearly every day, 6. discovering that i really LOVE to bake, 7. lots of guitar playing going on at my house, 8. i'm only able to knit scarves, but luckily winter means i wear them almost every day, 9. guiltless tv watching and book reading indoors, 10. S in his urban lumberjack wear, 11. BEAUTIFUL snow covered landscapes
